If anyone ever tells me they love the 60s music

I will punch them so hard.

In the face.

I used to be fine with that hokey pokey music. Until that was all my father played on trips, weekends, etc. Like that was all he listened to. Classical music? NOPE. Pop Culture music? NOPE. Sixties is the best out dere!

And all that the band down the street made up of old men trying to relive the “glory days” played. On weeknights. Fucking weeknights. Why not weekends?! When decent people of the world aren’t trying to recover from work.

I hate that music now.

Its like staring at a mediocre painting. First your like eh, it’s alright I’m okay with this. But then you have to look at it for hours. Then you see all these mistakes and realize the painting is absolutely horrible, the perspective is shot and the colors are ugly.

That’s what 60s music is to me. Noise. Sure it was new kind of music of its time. But it still sounds like shit.Kind of like the music now. In fact Pop culture music tends to be bad in general.

Just.

Why can’t my neighbors just be really enthusiastic cellists who don’t require amps and obnoxious noise makers (aka drum sets and fancy guitar pick ups) and just be heated classical players.

I can handle classical music. That shit actually sounds nice no matter what.

Also glory days? Those don’t exist. They’re only called glory days because you’ve forgotten all the bad shit that happened. Nothing is better from the past only the future is what gets better. Stop pretending.
